How to register an A record for a domain
An A record (Address Record) is a DNS record that specifies the IP address of the server the browser should contact when visiting your domain. Without a properly configured A record, your domain will not be able to direct visitors to the correct website.

If you haven't yet connected to free DNS hosting, follow these instructions: How to connect to free DNS hosting
Step 1: Go to the DNS control panel
- Log in to your account: my.unihost.kz
- Go to Products/Services → DNS Hosting
- Click on the active service
- At the top of the page, click the Go
Step 2: Add a domain (if you don't have one yet)
the Domain Names section and click Create . Enter your domain name (e.g., example.kz ) and save.
Step 3: Add or Modify an A-Record
- Select the desired domain from the list
- Click on Recordings
- Find a record with a name like
example.kzand typeA- if it exists, edit it - If there is no such entry, click Create.
- In the Name , enter
example.kz.(or@- they are equivalent) - Type: A
- Value: Server IP address
- Click OK to save.
Changes take effect immediately, but full DNS propagation may take anywhere from 15 minutes to several hours depending on your provider and TTL records.
